An event space like no other – Melbourne Zoo’s exclusive event spaces can bring a whole new experience to your event or wedding. Manicured gardens and the unique sounds of the surrounding wildlife provides your guests with a truly unique experience.

Melbourne Zoo has indoor & outdoor event spaces and has professional chefs that can tailor the menu to suit any budget and taste. To top it all off they support local producers and suppliers when possible and prepare all their food fresh on site for each event.

Rainforest Room – With its lush greenery and exotic ambiance, this space is perfect for weddings and intimate gatherings. The Rainforest Room overlooks the lake and has two separate outdoor terraces as well as its own private animal exhibit. The space can accommodate 60 seated guests with a dance floor, or 80 without, and 108 standing guests.

Bong Su Room – The Bong Su Room offers indoor and outdoor spaces, floor to ceiling windows, and dark timber paneling. This room can accommodate 120 seated guests or 144 standing, and is ideal for conferences, weddings, and birthday parties.

Leopard Lodge – The Leopard Lodge is the largest function space and sits against a backdrop of stunning gardens and lawns. The space is filled with greenery and its screen, stage, and AV capabilities, it’s perfect for corporate events, parties, and weddings. The Leopard Lodge can host 200-240 seated guests or 375 standing guests.
