Feel Good Events’ 10th birthday extravaganza! We celebrated 10 years of being one of Melbourne’s premium event hire, event planning & decorating companies by doing what we do best…throwing a party to remember!
The Setup
Our totally transformed warehouse played host to the 60’s “Flower Power” themed Party Extravaganza! Peace, love & feel good vibes spread to every inch of the party space. Vivid Mood & Party Lighting, Hippie Styling Products, LED Dance Floor and Bright Led Furniture brought the event space to life and had guests believing they were in an exclusive underground 60’s party!
Live Dance Performances kick started the party and had everyone up on the LED Dance Floor early. The dance floor remained that way while our owner and DJ of 25 years mixed in the very best party anthems from the last 25 years! Guests were kept hydrated by a fully staffed & operated open bar & kept fed by catering staff (including food & candy stations with donut wall).

Behind the Scenes
The complete transformation of our warehouse began 5 days pre-party. Here is a short rundown of each day leading up to the event.
Day 1 – We began by clearing as much of the event space as possible. As our business remained in full operation it was a struggle at times to create the space needed for regular warehouse operation and for the event. Our main goal of the day was to create the “skeleton” of the event space. We erected trussing first, then set up the DJ stage. After this, we moved the dance cages into position and placed the rigging for the draping. Custom decal was added to our white dance floor and we began attaching mood lighting to the truss. The last step for the day was to move the LED Dance Floor into position.
Day 2 – The day began by connecting the electrical components of the dance floor then moving on to decorating the space. We then began the makeover for the dance cages and food stages. Next, we created the ‘Flower Power’ bar canopy, and that was it for day 2.
Day 3 – It was all about styling today. The truss, bar canopy and food stations all completed their makeover – now fully decorated with colourful flowers and vines. We gave more love to the dance floor area today by adding hippy styling products, mirror balls, and party lights. We added this directly above the main dancing area to enhance the theme. The team finished off the day by programming the dance floor to a custom pattern. The setup was undoubtedly coming together!
Day 4 – Day 4 began with draping. We installed velvet drape along with uplighting to liven up the event space with colour. Next, we began moving the LED furniture into position. Lastly for the day, we began a round of final touches.
Day 5 (the day of) – A day of finishing touches. We gave special care to all styling and decorating components to make sure they were perfect. Next, we stocked up the candy buffets and food stations with plenty of munchies and made sure the bar was prepared. Lastly, we turned on all the LED Furniture and Uplighting just before the guests arrived.
