Frequently asked questions

How do I book wedding DJs?

To make a booking, all you need to do is fill out the booking form below with all of your details and return it to us with a $50 deposit.
If your wedding is quite a while away and you are still unsure of some of the details, please just fill in what you can and we can collect the rest of the information closer to your date.
DEPOSIT PAYMENT: You can also pay your deposit by sending us a cheque or money order made out to Feel Good Events, or by dropping into our office. You can also pay via Internet Banking, or over the phone with credit card.
FINAL PAYMENT: Balance of payment can be made prior to the event by the above methods, or cash balance on the night.
Your booking will only be confirmed when your booking form and deposit is returned so please send it to us ASAP to ensure you don’t miss out on your date.
If your function is cancelled, your deposit will be forfeited.

How do I select songs to be played during my wedding?

Please email a list of ‘must play’, ‘play if possible’ and ‘must not play’ songs to dance@feelgoodevents.com.au.

What do I need to supply for the DJ?

We only require a power point. All equipment will be provided by us.

How much space does the DJ require?

Our wedding DJs require at least 2.5m x 2.5m to comfortably do their job.

Do I need to feed the DJ?

We do not insist that the DJ is provided a meal, but some food and non-alcoholic beverages would be much appreciated as the DJ is there for longer than your guests.

Can I meet the DJ prior to my wedding?

All bookings and wedding planning are done through our office with our experience team prior to your big day. Once we have allocated a suitable DJ for your event, we can then organise a time at our office for you to meet with the DJ. Alternatively, we can arrange for the DJ to call you to confirm your details and preferences.

Should I hire lighting?

Lighting is so important if you want to create an atmosphere that is comfortable for your guests. It can also help you set the right mood for the type of party you want. Choosing to have some mood lighting for the beginning of the event and then some party lights to help encourage dancing later in the night will definitely make your party more successful.

I want my wedding to be the party of the year. How do I achieve this?

If you really want to try and create the ]party of the year, we suggest having a cocktail-style wedding. This will allow a lot more time for dancing as dinner and formalities won’t take up the majority of the night. Most importantly, your guests will be much more likely to dance if they have not just eaten a 3-course meal!
