What sort of surface can the dance floors be set up on?
Our dance floors need to be set up on smooth, flat surfaces. If the surface is not flat, it can cause the tiles to be uneven and possibly unsafe. Floorboards and concrete are the best surfaces to place our dance floors on. If you are wanting to put a dance floor down on carpet, you must ensure the carpet is not overly plush as the tiles will move around.
Will the dance floors damage my existing floors?
Due to the materials our dance floors are made from, there is a small chance that they can cause small scratches on your existing floors. If you are worried about damage, please notify our office and we can supply carpet tiles for a small cost.
Can the dance floors be set up outside?
Our dance floors (other than the Outdoor Dance Floor) can only be set up outside if it is under cover and there is no change of them getting wet. If the dance floor is going into a marquee, it requires a hard, level, wooden floor underneath. If the the flooring is not smooth and level, safety cannot be guaranteed.
Can I get custom decal on the dance floor?
Yes, Feel Good Events can organise a custom decal for your dance floor (excluding LED Dance Floor). Please contact our website with your decal requirements and we will provide you with a quote.
How does the LED Dance Floor work?
The LED Dance Floor is run by an internal program that runs through a sequence of patterns and colours, this is a pre-built program which will be standard with every dance floor booking. Programming is available at an additional cost, this will allow you to select particular colours, patterns, and speeds. Please contact our office for more information. The dance floor will be plugged into a power point, you will be able to turn the dance floor on and off simply by using the power point the dance floor is plugged into.
How much power is required for the LED Dance Floor?
Depending on the size of the dance floor, in some cases it can be run off 1 or 2 single 10 amp power units. Any sizes over 8m x 8m would require a 3-phase point or multiple separate circuits in the venue.
Please note: Each tile is 100 watts
Can I take drinks onto the dance floor?
The dance floor is water resistant but not waterproof. We recommend that drinks are not taken onto the dance floor to avoid significantly large spills damaging the dance floor. Any spillages on the dance floor must be cleaned right away. This is due to safety and possible damage to the dance floor. Feel Good Events will not be held responsible for any injuries that occur on the dance floor caused by spilled drinks. Drinks are to be taken on the dance floor at your own risk.
